You choose the puja and book it in the PoonamLight app; the ritual itself is carried out in full — with the proper mantras, samagri and procedure — exactly as it would be if you were commissioning it in person.

Soon after your booking, our team reaches out to you personally. We confirm your details and fix an auspicious muhurat for your puja — a date and time chosen with care, and confirmed with you before anything is scheduled.
Your sankalp details
We collect your sankalp — your full name, your gotra (if you don't know it, the traditional Kashyap gotra is used), where you are, and the prayer or wish closest to your heart. This sacred declaration is recited aloud by the pandit, dedicating the entire ritual to you. You can fill these in the app at your convenience, or simply share them with us on the call.
Niyam & suggestions for deeper benefit
Every puja carries its own simple observances — niyam — that you may choose to follow on the day of the ritual. We share these with you in advance, along with any suggestions that can deepen your connection with the ceremony.
Your puja — live and delivered
At the confirmed muhurat, an experienced pandit performs your puja in full — proper mantras, samagri and procedure. On packages with live video darshan, you join over a video call and can ask the pandit your questions during the ceremony. Afterwards, the video of your puja is carefully reviewed by our team and delivered to you — a blessing to keep.

A recording is delivered to you afterwards either way.
What is a sankalp and what details do I share?
The sankalp is the formal declaration made at the start of the puja that dedicates the ritual to a specific person and intention. After booking, you share your name, gotra, place, and the intention for the puja — the pandit recites these during the sankalp.
How will I know my puja was performed?
You receive a video of your puja after it is performed. Every recording is reviewed by our team before it is delivered to you.
When is the muhurat decided?
After booking. Our team contacts you to confirm an auspicious date and time that also works for you, and the pandit performs the puja at that confirmed muhurat.
What if I don't know my gotra?
That is completely fine and very common. In that case the sankalp is taken with the Kashyap gotra, a fully accepted traditional practice for devotees who do not know their family gotra.
