What this covers

These terms are the agreement between you and Sainani Innovations Private Limited. They apply to the website at https://poonamlight.com, to the Poonam Light app for iPhone and Android, and to the Poonam Pro app our Experts use. Using any of them means you accept these terms.

You must be 18 or over to use the service.

What the service is

We connect you with independent practitioners — we call them Experts — for consultations about your chart by chat, audio call or video call, and we generate Vedic reports from the birth details you give us. We also sell puja bookings, healing sessions, courses and physical products.

Guidance is based on traditional interpretation. It is not a substitute for professional financial, legal or medical advice, and nothing in a report or a consultation should be treated as such. Reports and readings describe tendencies; they do not predict events and they do not prevent them. Decisions you take after a consultation are yours.

Experts are independent practitioners, not our employees. We verify who they are and what they practise before their profile goes live. We do not certify them, we do not award them qualifications, and we do not guarantee the content or the outcome of any consultation.

Your account

Your account is identified by your mobile number and secured by a one-time password. Keep access to that number; anyone who can receive its messages can reach your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

One person, one account. Do not use somebody else's birth details as though they were yours if you intend to act on the reading.

Talk time, rates and billing

Consultations are prepaid and billed by the minute:

  • Each Expert sets their own per-minute rate for chat, for audio calls and for video calls. All three are shown on their profile before you start.
  • You add talk time to your account first. The amount you see at checkout includes GST and is the amount charged.
  • You need enough talk time to cover the session length you choose. The shortest session the app offers is five minutes.
  • Billing starts when the Expert accepts and joins, and runs minute by minute from there. It does not run while you wait for them.
  • If the Expert declines, or does not join, nothing is charged.
  • If a session drops, billing stops at the last minute that was connected.
  • A session extends only when you tap to add time. It never extends itself.
  • There is no subscription, no plan and no free first session.

Gifts you send an Expert are voluntary, buy no service, and are not refundable.

What you agree not to do

  • Ask for, or give, advice that is really a medical diagnosis, a legal opinion or financial advice.
  • Abuse, threaten, harass or sexually proposition an Expert, or record a session without their consent.
  • Try to move a consultation off the platform, or to pay an Expert directly.
  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to ask about black magic, causing harm to another person, or the date of anyone's death.
  • Copy, scrape or republish our reports, chart calculations or Expert profiles.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this, and we can withhold a refund of talk time consumed in sessions that broke these rules.

Content and intellectual property

The reports, the site, the apps, our name and our artwork belong to us. What you write in a consultation stays yours; you give us permission to store it and show it to the Expert you are consulting, and to keep it as a record of the session.

A review you post may be shown publicly on the Expert's profile alongside the name on your account. We may decline to publish a review that is abusive or that identifies a third party.

Physical products, pujas and courses

Physical products are sold and delivered as described in the refund and cancellation policy. A puja is performed in your name at the time confirmed to you after booking; a course gives you access to the recorded or scheduled sessions described on its page. These are separate from talk time and are not billed by the minute.

Liability

We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything that goes wrong is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it happened. We are not liable for the advice an Expert gives, for decisions you take after a consultation, or for a network, device or third-party failure outside our control.

Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited.

Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time — see the privacy policy for how. We can suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for fraud, or for a chargeback we believe to be dishonest. If we close your account without cause, any unused talk time is refunded.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
